Executive Coaching

SPG provides coaching services to mid- and upper-level corporate and government leaders who want to make a difference in their organizations and lives. We believe that coaching is fundamentally about learning and change. Our approach is behavior-based, action-oriented and results-driven. We strike a balance between being hard-hitting and sensitive to the needs of the individual.

Once we establish the relationship, we work with clients to help them create systems that will provide good quality data. We then support clients as they analyze that data and plan actions based on their desired results. We coach them as they practice new behaviors and evaluate their progress.

In our coaching work, we often incorporate the following.

principles of dialogue
inventories as appropriate, data (quantitative and qualitative) gathered from coachee and others
role-playing conversations

We believe strongly in helping clients to develop systems and tools supporting the new behaviors they want to put into practice. The right attitude is important, but attitude alone is not enough to sustain behavioral change. We help clients create feedback loops for themselves by enrolling key stakeholders in their success. Learning how to achieve and sustain desired results is the objective of our coaching work with each individual. This way they can continue the learning process long after we have left.
